I don’t normally like fruity sodas disguised as “beer” but I am a sucker for packaging. And it’s a pink elephant! What am I gonna do, NOT buy it?
Today was somewhat busy. I had to take my work truck in for service at 10am, and then the Lexus in for it s annual oil change at 12:30. Everything went smoothly, clean bill of automotive health for all. Then went out to a masked dinner with a friend, and now enjoying this garbage “beer.”
Tomorrow I’m building hopefully most of the rest of the fence, but also got wrangled into helping my neighbor with a retaining wall. Remember, I am somehow the same “bad” neighbor who dared own four cars back in the day. Everyone should be tickled pink to live next to me...

My car’s been in the shop since Wednesday for a new exhaust and wheel bearings, so I’ve been mostly stuck at home, since my only other option is driving my company car, which is packed full of samples and sales materials and is also a Ford Escape.

Very busy, not much down time. Either I’m at work, or doing car things. Changing my oil tomorrow, then a track day on monday. Another week of work, then auto-x next weekend. Been this way for past 2 months. After that vacation at the family hunt/fish camp for week. Kinda disconnect up there: no wifi, no phone signal, just a faint AM radio station signal to hear the outside world. Then need new tires. G onna get around 10k miles out this set. A very hard 10k miles on them.

It’s been too damn hot but other than that things are generally going along well. The Camaro finally got its alignment and no big issues were found so it’s ready to drive once the weather gets its shit together. The worst thing I’m dealing with is a crap sprinkler system which is pretty low on the importance list.
One quick review of Sunkist Stawberry Lemonade. It tastes nothing like strawberry lemonade but strangely enough tastes like strawberry Nestle Quik. Nostalgia wins. I’ll drink more.

Busy busy busy...lots of work in the last couple of weeks and have been fiddling with the Mini and the Vette as well.
Trying to fit a bucket seat in the Vette but use the stock 3 point harness with it. Had to open up the belt retractor and fiddle around with it...its almost done, im just waiting on ebay eb deliver a Yukon belt retainer.
Ooh and I'm autocrossing my friends S2000 tomorrow.

I get to spend my day off tomorrow putting in outdoor wifi at a local business. I’m letting him pay me half what I’m worth because we’re friends. I am also what you call a good neighbor in that regard.
But hey hockey is back in a we ired fanless bizaro universe with synthetic crowd noise from nowhere. So that’s neat.

Huckleberry smoothie FTW. Also has huckleberry fruit salad and will make huckleberry pancakes tomorrow.
Got in a good ride with the fellas this morning and one guy got bear spray on his gloves and seems to need to pee a lot. He got some residual bear spray on his pecker so we all had a good chuckle, because this is like the third time this has happened. He’s too cheap to throw away the gloves that are soaked in bear spray and washing them has had no effect.

Not doing too badly. Spent the afternoon Crescent Beach with the family, had a few lemon mint Gin Smashes while there, came home and reheated leftover Indian food, and am chilling on the sofa sipping a Harve y Wallbanger.

The family and I went for a small road trip along the Erie lake shore. Hit up a small pub for some late lunch, then a local dairy for ice cream. Right now I’ve got three chickens in a cooler full of brine waiting to be smoked tomorrow. Should be very good.
